HELP US TO SHOW YOU THE UNIVERSE!
TRAC, in conjunction with Tamworth Regional Council, is developing the Tamworth Regional Astronomy and Science Centre to show you the wonders of our amazing universe through one of the largest privately owned telescopes in Australia!
Council has secured a NSW Government grant of $1.8M towards the construction of the buildings and other developments in the Victoria Park precinct. A further $400,000 in Federal Government funding has recently been allocated by Tamworth Regional Council towards the complex's buildings.
We have the telescopes, Council is constructing the buildings with the support of the State and Federal Governments, however the Club NEEDS YOUR HELP to assist with the fit-out of this exciting educational, scientific and regional tourism facility to ensure it reaches its full potential!
